Description
By drawing connections between language development and human cognitive evolution, this session explores how language has influenced brain dimensions and social structures over time and is now the foundation of generative AI models. These systems today process and generate multimodal content beyond text, including images, videos, and speech. Through practical demonstrations, AWS will show how an event-driven approach for speech-to-speech applications can be enhanced by retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and the integration of tools to bridge our understanding of natural language and its computational implementation.
