Description
Giulia Massini is a Senior Researcher, Co-founder, and Deputy Director of the Semeion Research Center in Rome. She has decades of experience in designing and developing Artificial Intelligence algorithms, software, and adaptive systems. She specializes in the design of neural networks for classification, clustering, and data mining.
She has developed software innovations such as AutoCM for semantic maps and the Populations scaling algorithm. Her work focuses on applying AI in the fields of healthcare, security, and industry. She has collaborated with the Metropolitan Police (New Scotland Yard) on the analysis of investigative databases.
In the biomedical field, she has developed systems for Alzheimer’s diagnosis and diagnostic imaging. She coordinates fraud detection and data analysis projects for public institutions and major international companies. She is the author of numerous publications in international scientific journals such as Physica A, Chaos, and AI in Medicine.
She graduated in Sociology and Statistical Sociology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza.”
