Description
Robin Kuepers (1968) serves as Supermicro’s Director of Solutions for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In this role, he acts as a corporate ambassador for advanced server and storage infrastructure solutions, data centers, cloud computing, enterprise IT, AI factories, high-performance computing and big data, as well as embedded, edge, and IoT systems across the region.
As a member of the EMEA Product & Solutions Group (PSG), he represents the global Supermicro Systems Business Unit, working in close collaboration with Global Product Management and Research & Development teams.
He is responsible for evangelizing Supermicro’s datacenter and infrastructure vision and strategy to customers, partners, alliances, and key influencer communities, including industry analysts and the press. He is also a certified social media and community professional.
Robin joined Supermicro in April 2024, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry.
In addition to his role at Supermicro, he engages in independent consulting as a Regional Field CTO, supporting industry researchers, investor communities, and other third parties. With a strong foundation in thought leadership,he is adept at identifying and contextualizing technology trends, distinguishing between genuine innovation and market hype, analyzing competitive developments, and evangelizing emerging technologies.
Before joining Supermicro, he held a variety of international leadership roles at Dell Technologies, Getronics, and KPN, spanning marketing, product operations, business development, sales, product management, and executive management.
In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) from 2012 to 2014.
Robin has a strong technical background and studied Electronics.
