Agents that learn: a soft actor-critic approach
At AI Week 2026, we will present an architecture for autonomous, adaptable agentic systems oriented toward continuous learning.
At the core of the solution, reasoning is separated from execution: a first multi-agent system composed of “Actors” and “Critics” collaborates in an adversarial setup to define the action strategy, also leveraging the history of past executions. A second multi-agent system, organized hierarchically, is responsible for execution and real-world implementation through specialized agents and operational functions, known as “Tools”.
The system implements a reinforcement learning paradigm, where evaluating agents compare the generated outcome with user expectations, feeding a global and personalized memory that ensures continuous performance improvement and prevents the repetition of errors.
The infrastructure, which is portable on-premise, guarantees full data sovereignty and security, featuring a modular and LLM-agnostic design that eliminates vendor lock-in risk. Finally, the multi-agent architecture ensures maximum explainability and transparency of decision-making processes, enabling the solution to evolve and scale in close collaboration with end users through co-design.

Securing a European Sovereign Inference Provider: a Technical Case Study with Xference and HikmaAI
European companies are now running LLMs in production. Inference providers are the plumbing underneath, which means they are critical infrastructure, and they present an attack surface nobody really knows how to defend. This talk covers a joint technical case study between Xference, a Sovereign European inference provider, and HikmaAI, showing how we designed a two-stage security architecture, adversarial testing before deployment, and runtime enforcement via the HikmaAI Intelligence Gateway. We walk through the threat model, the validation methodology we used against models and agentic workflows, the attack classes we caught before going live, and the runtime controls that now block prompt injection, jailbreaks, data exfiltration attempts, and policy violations on live traffic. We share real numbers, attacks found, attacks blocked, latency overhead, false positive rates, and without killing private inference performance.

The Intelligence Layer for the Age of AI Agents.
Every AI coding agent runs on the same foundation models. The real differentiator is context: what information reaches the model, and how efficiently. In this speech we introduce Prism, an intelligence layer that sits beneath any coding agent, providing MCP-based code intelligence tools and a living architecture wiki. Benchmarks show 56% average token reduction and up to +12% higher solve rates on SWE-bench. This talk covers how Prism works, why context engineering matters more than model choice, and how teams can integrate it into existing agent workflows.

Leading with Hybrid Intelligence: The Human Edge in an AI-Native World How leaders can integrate human insight and machine reasoning to drive responsible transformation
As Artificial Intelligence becomes ubiquitous, leaders and organisations are no longer constrained by a technology gap, but by an imagination gap. Tools are evolving faster than our ability to rethink how we orient collective action, make decisions, and create value alongside machines. In this talk, Henri Allegra proposes a radical shift in perspective: the real challenge of AI is not adoption, but a transformation in the way we think. He introduces hybrid intelligence as a core leadership capability: the intentional integration of human insight, judgment, and values with machine reasoning. Used this way, AI becomes a metacognitive partner, making leaders aware of how they think, not only of what they decide. Leaders will be challenged to unlearn automation-era reflexes and relearn leadership from scratch in an AI-native world. The promise is a deeper human transformation: expanded imagination, renewed agency, and more responsible, innovative organisations in the age of hybrid intelligence.

Everything you’ve built on Google and social media risks becoming invisible. Ignoring optimization for the new AI-driven search engines means condemning your brand to total irrelevance—wasting all the investments you’ve made so far.
Ale Agostini (CEO of AvantGrade.com and author of Being the Answer) strips away any illusion and delivers the hard truth about GEO AI Search—the new paradigm of search in the age of artificial intelligence.
This is a practical session that overturns the status quo and shows you how to make AI cite your company as an authoritative source. By the end, you’ll feel one urgent need: to understand how much your business is losing—and take action fast.
What you’ll take away:
The invisibility diagnosis: why new AI search engines ignore your brand—and how to reverse the damage to your revenue.
The power shift: a strategic roadmap to leverage everything you’ve already built on Google and start appearing in the answers AI shows your potential customers.
The verdict (immediate action): a method to ensure maximum accuracy and presence of your brand identity in AI, through real-time testing of your “Brand AI integrity.”

The Memory Wall: Why AI Agents Fail (and How to Fix Them)
Today's AI agents run on duct tape: separate systems for transactions, analytics, and vectors, stitched together with brittle ETL pipelines and growing engineering overhead. That approach won't survive the next wave of agentic AI, where enterprises need to support millions of concurrent agents, each with persistent memory, real-time data access, and consistent state. This session introduces the architecture that supports millions of agents: a converged distributed SQL platform that unifies OLTP, real-time analytics, and native vector search in a single ACID-compliant system, handling relational, vector, and full-text demands in one query layer. We'll walk through the Decide-Validate-Remember loop that production teams use to reduce token costs through persistent context and scale multi-agent workflows without state drift.

The thinking territory: how AI and IoT transform distributed data into intelligent decisions
A city produces millions of signals every day: traffic, mobility, environment, consumption, events, and people flows. For years, we have collected this data without truly managing to turn it into decision-making capability. Today, Artificial Intelligence is changing the paradigm: no longer passive dashboards, but territorial systems capable of interpreting context, anticipating phenomena, and suggesting operational actions.
In this workshop, we will explore how the integration of AI, IoT, and Smart Land platforms is redefining territorial governance. From urban mobility management to hydrogeological risk prevention, from predictive analysis of tourist flows to environmental monitoring, we will see how data coming from sensors, mobile networks, infrastructure, and public sources can converge into an intelligent and interoperable ecosystem.
Through real-world cases and live demos, we will show how the territorial Digital Twin evolves from a simple representation of the city into a true cognitive decision-support system.

AI Training and Solutions for Businesses: Discover the New Recurring Business Model
In the Artificial Intelligence market, everyone talks about tools, prompts, and automation. But for Italian SMEs, the real challenge is something else: understanding where to start, how to truly apply AI to business processes, and above all, how to turn it into concrete results. In this pitch, you will discover the Zero to AI model: a journey that combines training, strategic assessment, and operational AI solutions to support companies in the real adoption of Artificial Intelligence. We will explore how to transform a simple training activity into a structured, recurring business capable of generating continuous value through business assessments, specialized training, implementation of AI tools, automation, software, and advanced services dedicated to SMEs. We will discuss how the journey is built: from mapping key business areas and internal processes to developing customized roadmaps that help entrepreneurs and teams use AI concretely in marketing, sales, administration, customer care, operations, and internal organization. We will also dive into the commercial and territorial growth model of Zero to AI, designed for professionals, agencies, consultants, system integrators, and entrepreneurs who want to enter one of the fastest-growing markets of the coming years with a ready-made structure, supported by content, methodology, the AI Play platform, and events.

Agent Sovereignty
Italian companies are deploying AI agents without knowing where they are going, what they are saying, or what is leaving their perimeter. This is not a technological problem, but a legal and strategic exposure that is already in effect: Mind Breach, AI Act, GDPR, ISO 42001. It will not disappear with the next model.
In this speech, the CEO and CTO of Pupau.ai explain what it means to govern an agentic company today: the difference between deploying agents in production and keeping them under control, and why companies that have already made this leap are turning governance into a hard-to-copy competitive advantage.
The thesis: the 2027 agentic enterprise will not be defined by how many agents it has in production, but by its ability to govern them. Those who build today the cognitive infrastructure with data sovereignty, native auditability, and controlled deployment (on-premise or private cloud) are not just reducing risk. They are building the key differentiator of the next industrial cycle.
With real production use cases: public institutions, industry, large-scale retail (GDO), and professional services.

Alteus Medical: practical AI support for better clinical consultations
Doctors work under constant pressure: limited time, fragmented patient information, and growing documentation requirements. This often reduces time for what matters most - the patient conversation and clinical decision. Alteus Medical is an AI-powered clinical copilot, part of the alteus.ai platform, designed to support doctors before, during, and after consultations. It helps clinicians quickly understand patient context, ask better follow-up questions, and prepare structured draft documentation for review and approval. In this session, we show how Alteus Medical supports three key outcomes: faster access to relevant patient history and medical context. Better consultation flow through contextual AI assistance. Clearer, more consistent doctor-approved documentation with less administrative effort. The presentation also highlights why governance is essential for healthcare AI adoption: privacy, role-based access, auditability, and human clinical oversight are built into the workflow. The goal is practical impact at scale - helping clinical teams work more efficiently while keeping medical judgment fully in the hands of doctors.

How conversations within a company (especially sales conversations) can become your competitive advantage
Every day, thousands of conversations between salespeople and customers generate valuable data that no CRM captures: real objections, buying signals, recurring mistakes. Globally, conversation intelligence is a billion-dollar market. In Italy, it’s still at zero.
Andrea di Foggia, founder of askmentor, uses real data to show how the systematic analysis of sales conversations makes it possible to identify correlations invisible to the human eye (such as a success rate increasing, for example, from 1% up to as much as 92% when a specific company protocol is followed), generate corrective actions for each salesperson, and fuel marketing with the real language of customers.
Through a practical demonstration, the talk explores why companies that start digitizing their conversations today will build a competitive advantage that is impossible to replicate.

Panel: Building an AI Valley in Italy: Vision, Strategies, and Reality
AI Valley evokes demanding references and was not chosen by chance, even if it requires a bit of imagination to fully grasp.
Times are moving fast, and often there is no time to reflect — we are constantly forced to chase what comes next. But today, let’s try to pause for a moment within this context so rich in stimuli.
Can Italy truly build a solid AI ecosystem? And if so, how, with whom, and by learning from what?
To explore these questions, we have invited three very different individuals to discuss them — people who don’t usually share the same stage, but who, in my view, should be talking to each other much more.

From dynamo to co-thinker: why your AI isn’t working yet
When factories first gained access to electricity, for decades they simply replaced the steam engine with a dynamo—same factory, same layouts, same belts. Productivity didn’t move. The real leap came only when a new generation of entrepreneurs had the courage to tear down the factory and rebuild it from scratch around the electric motor.
Today, with artificial intelligence, we are in the dynamo phase. Companies buy copilots and layer them onto unchanged processes: AI summarizes, generates drafts, answers questions. Useful—but it’s not transformation, it’s cosmetic automation. The real discontinuity has a name: moving from co-pilot to co-thinker. Not a faster assistant, but a system that enters the decision-making process, understands context, reasons about implications, and raises risks no one in the room is considering.
This will be illustrated through a case every company knows: a strategic procurement. A multi-million contract, eleven months of negotiation, thirty people at the table—and a liability clause hidden on page 47 that none of the thirty noticed. The co-thinker did. We will see how, concretely: specialized agents, structured organizational memory, and a workflow where AI doesn’t assist the team but thinks alongside the team. Those leaving this talk will have a framework to understand whether their company is using AI like a dynamo—and what it takes to rebuild the factory.

The carbon ROI of AI. How much does Artificial Intelligence cost in CO2? What benefits does it generate instead? The first quantitative study on Italian SMEs.
Generative AI is presented as an ally of the transition: it optimizes consumption, predicts waste, and accelerates ESG reporting. But every query to a language model consumes energy. Global data centers could double their electricity consumption by 2030, with an estimated carbon footprint of between 32 and 80 million tons of CO₂ in 2025 alone. Around 60% of the new electricity demand from data centers will be covered by fossil fuels. No one has ever measured this paradox at the level of individual Italian companies. This white paper does so for the first time: through an analysis of companies and sectors, it assesses the net carbon impact of AI adoption—comparing the emissions generated by the use of AI tools (infrastructure, computing, cloud) with the emissions saved thanks to the efficiency gains enabled by AI itself (logistics, energy, processes). The result is a “carbon balance sheet of AI” by company type, size, and sector, accompanied by future scenarios.

Your AI passed the test. Now what?
AI is moving beyond static models and one-off evaluations into systems that continuously adapt, learn, and operate autonomously, often inside real environments, not just test datasets. Most teams still rely on benchmark-driven evaluation, which is useful, but increasingly misleading. It tells you how a model performs at a single point in time, not how it behaves once it’s deployed and interacting in real environments. And that’s the problem: the environment itself changes, adapts, and evolves, so AI must operate in a world that never stands still.

Arsenalia, Electrolux Professional Group & Microsoft: Governing Augmented Intelligence. Electrolux Professional Group’s journey through governance, training, and organizational change.
AI does not simply add new tools: it redistributes intelligence. When this capability becomes accessible, widespread, and operational within workflows, the focus is no longer the technology itself, but the organization’s ability to govern it. This is what we define as augmented intelligence: a condition in which people, processes, and decisions extend their potential through distributed capabilities integrated into everyday work.
Electrolux Group presents a concrete case in which governance, internal training, and guided adoption become strategic levers to transform experimentation and curiosity into a real, coherent, and sustainable organizational capability. This is not a theoretical discussion about AI, but a practical perspective on how to make it operational, governed, and relevant in daily activities. From clustering to action: how agentic AI transforms retail from reactive to autonomous
Every retailer knows the pain of margins eroded by promotions and of customer loyalty that never quite takes off. Starting from a real case of a fashion e-commerce, we will show how AI-driven customer segmentation based on clustering is already capable today of mapping precise behavioral patterns, from high-spending customers to “opportunity seekers.” But the real revolution begins when AI stops observing and starts deciding. We will explore the evolution toward Agentic AI, capable of making the entire marketing and CRM cycle autonomous: agents that update clusters in real time, generate hyper-personalized communications, and orchestrate recovery campaigns to intercept at-risk customers before it is too late. We will conclude with a necessary reflection on governance and the AI Act: your CRM knows who your customers are, but does your AI already know what to do—and when to do it autonomously? NeuroForge
What if training were no longer designed, but generated?
In a context where skills become obsolete increasingly quickly, traditional training models are no longer sufficient. NeuroForge introduces a new paradigm: a system in which artificial intelligence does not merely support learning, but builds it, adapts it, and evolves it in real time. Starting from existing knowledge, a network of AI agents transforms static materials into dynamic learning experiences, generating multimodal content and structured learning paths in moments. But the real shift happens during learning itself: users interact with an intelligent system that understands context, responds in a targeted way, and guides the exploration of information. Training thus becomes a living experience. Thanks to an adaptive gamification engine, every piece of content becomes an interactive environment that evolves based on the learner’s actions, mistakes, and progress. The AI observes, learns, and continuously modifies the path, making it increasingly personalized, effective, and relevant. It is no longer the user who adapts to the course.
It is the course that adapts to the user. NeuroForge redefines the very concept of learning: from a static process to an intelligent, continuous, and generative system.

Your Users Have Already Stopped Clicking. Coelevate — Agent Experience for SaaS
For twenty years, software has focused on optimizing User Experience for clicking users, but this model is now changing as people increasingly delegate tasks to AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini and expect outcomes rather than interfaces. This shift introduces a new paradigm called Agent Experience, where software must be designed to be consumed by agents through reliable APIs and mechanisms for delegation and coordination between autonomous systems. In this context, users express intent while agents execute tasks by orchestrating tools and services, often on top of existing SaaS platforms. The evolution moves from agent-ready systems to agent-to-agent models where agents interact autonomously, passing through increasingly advanced copilot and autopilot stages. The real competitive advantage comes from the combination of human expertise, proprietary data, and business logic, while the main challenge is no longer exposing APIs but building complete, reliable agent experiences that deliver outcomes, ultimately enabling new business models and expanding markets through AI, as in the case of Coelevate.

Agentic AI for unstructured data: how to transform enterprise documents into operational knowledge
In modern organizations, over 80% of information resides in unstructured content: documents, reports, procedures, proposals, knowledge bases, and historical archives. This represents a valuable asset that is often difficult to access, fragmented, and hard to leverage.
This talk explores how to design an Enterprise Agentic AI platform focused on corporate knowledge management to enable autonomous process orchestration, advanced document retrieval, and automated document generation.
The presented solution implements an adversarial Actor/Critic agentic model supported by a Reinforcement Learning system integrating RAG and GraphRAG engines, specialized agents for automated document generation, and advanced search capabilities across enterprise document repositories, with deployment options also in on-premise or isolated environments.
Special focus will be given to typical enterprise concerns often overlooked in AI projects, such as evolutionary maintenance, non-regression testing, performance benchmarking, observability, scalability, and operational continuity.
A real-world case demonstrates how agentic AI can evolve beyond a technological demo into an industrial-grade platform supporting business, operations, and decision-making.

Towards Decoding Dolphin Communication
For millennia humans have wondered what animals might be saying to each other, but (and not for lack of trying), we have never been able to decode their language. Modern machine learning systems have shown great promise and have already solved many problems previously thought to be impossible. This talk explores our efforts to use self-supervised machine learning to understand and interpret dolphin communication. First, we present a system that can "rediscover" the meaning of human language without a teacher, through watching unlabeled video. From Earth Observation to Earth Intelligence: How the ESA Φ-lab helps developing solutions to Give the Planet a Voice
Earth Observation data already supports decisions across many industries – often without anyone realizing it. Yet despite its enormous value, this data remains difficult to access, fragmented across platforms, and hard to translate into clear, decision-ready insights.
In this presentation, it will be shown how the ESA Φ-lab, and in particular the InCubed programme, supported two companies, GeoVille and Cortecs, to develop terrAIntel, an AI-powered Earth Intelligence platform designed to bridge this gap. The talk explores how AI can move users from programming languages and complex provider-specific workflows toward natural-language interaction, map-based evidence, statistics, and interpretation.
Rather than being another general-purpose LLM, terrAIntel is positioned as a domain-specialized AI layer that helps turn fragmented Earth Observation data into understandable and actionable Earth intelligence.

The Brand in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the way brands are perceived, positioned, and communicated—often without companies even being aware of it. Together with EY Studio+, we will address key topics for brand growth in the age of artificial intelligence: authenticity as the only defense against algorithmic commoditization; human advantage as a source of competitive edge—where the more machines advance, the more the human element matters; monitoring and influencing positioning, and how to govern one’s narrative; and AI product design, focusing on how to build AI products that convey brand authenticity.

The real breakthrough in AI isn’t speed. It’s shared understanding
Everyone is racing to make AI faster, cheaper, and bigger. But when the model speaks, does anyone actually understand?
In this session, Oddmund and Sven will unpack three gaps hiding in plain sight across the AI landscape and explain why the industry is obsessed with the first one while barely talking about the other two.
They'll introduce the Comprehension Layer: the unsolved space between what AI produces and what humans actually need to understand, across languages, cultures, and high-stakes live environments.
Drawing on Interprefy's experience powering real-time multilingual communication at scale — long before AI made it fashionable — this talk will challenge how the room thinks about what winning in AI actually looks like. Expect a frank conversation about infrastructure over hype, clarity over noise, and why the companies still standing in three years won't be the ones who shouted loudest. They'll be the ones who were most understood.

The Soul of Efficiency in business process automation. Toward Wise Automation: Beyond the Algorithm, Toward Fairness.
In an era dominated by the race for automation, the real risk is not technological but human: building perfect systems within an imperfect ecosystem. This talk proposes a paradigm shift—automation not as a replacement for human work, but as applied wisdom capable of elevating it. Through the real-world experience of the agents powering the SophIA and ThalIA platforms, the session explores three key pillars:
• Automation as an ethical choice: designing fair and transparent processes, eliminating hidden biases in data and models.
• Wisdom in automation: integrating a systemic vision that places the well-being of people and the organization at the center.
• From productivity to human fulfillment: using AI to free up time and value, giving back to people what makes them unique—intuition, empathy, and judgment.
The journey culminates in an evolved vision of the enterprise, where HR and Finance converge into a single connected intelligence, and where efficiency is no longer just a KPI, but the result of a harmonious balance between technology and humanity.

30 days to start thinking again: how AI frees SME leaders from the work they shouldn’t be doing
Every entrepreneur knows what they should be doing with their time: making strategic decisions, spending time with customers, and growing their people. Yet the day gets taken up by something else: checking numbers, reminding the team about deadlines, and searching for information scattered across spreadsheets, Excel files, emails, and messages. MAITIME was created to give that time back. The name itself reflects its mission: an artificial intelligence that takes on the operational routine of SMEs, freeing entrepreneurs and teams to focus on work that requires both mind and heart. Enrico Giardini (CTO and Co-Founder) will explain why he built MAITIME based on his own entrepreneurial experience and will demonstrate live, through a platform demo, how AI can remove work instead of adding more of it.

8ra: the turning point of European digital sovereignty
Europe is accelerating its push for digital sovereignty through the IPCEI-CIS initiative (“8ra”), which aims to build a federated, interoperable cloud-edge infrastructure to reduce dependence on non-EU hyperscalers. With over €3.5 billion in investments and more than 150 stakeholders involved, the goal is to strengthen technological autonomy, data control, and resilience, in line with the European regulatory framework. However, the main challenge remains turning this infrastructure into real-world usage. In this context, Villanova acts as an enabling layer: through generative AI, multimodal models, and a low-code/no-code framework, it allows companies and public administrations to develop concrete applications on the European cloud-edge. By validating real-world use cases, Villanova helps bridge the gap between research and adoption, making digital sovereignty operational and scalable.

Il futuro è headless: come le organizzazioni devono trasformarsi per l’era agentica.
Every organisation in this room is already running AI pilots. Most of them will fail to scale not because the technology doesn't work, but because the organisation wasn't built for it. "Headless" means business processes that run without a human in the loop agents that draft, decide, and act autonomously on your behalf. The organisations winning right now aren't the ones with the best AI models. They're the ones that built a platform so every new use case costs less, ships faster, and carries less risk than the last. Ash Osborne draws on real deployments across regulated industries to show what separates organisations operating at scale from those still stuck in pilot mode and the three questions every leadership team needs to answer before their next AI investment.

Investigative AI applied to E-Commerce
The study analyzes a global e-commerce system using AutoCM and Meta-AutoCM models to go beyond traditional sales statistics.
AutoCM identifies direct associations between variables (markets, products, platforms), while Meta-AutoCM reveals functional similarities and systemic impact.
Results show that geography is the main driver, with markets influencing the system far more than product categories.
It highlights “sentinel” markets that detect early changes and “bridge” countries that signal their spread toward Europe and the US.
The combined approach provides a strategic map for geographic segmentation, early-warning monitoring, and optimization of pricing and sales strategies.

Now That Everyone Can Build
A keynote on why the next era of AI will not be defined only by better tools, but by more people choosing to act like founders.
For decades, software creation was constrained by access: access to technical skills, teams, capital, and institutional permission. Lovable is changing that. More people can now move from idea to working product faster than ever before. As building becomes easier, founder-like behaviours become more important: ownership, speed, judgement, resilience, and the ability to learn in public.
Aino will argue that the underlying shift is behavioural. The people who stand out in the AI era are those who see a gap, take ownership, learn quickly, build something real, and find the community or market that needs it. Being a founder is becoming a way of operating that can apply far beyond the traditional startup path.
Drawing on her experience building Europe’s startup community at Slush, and now leading special projects, community and growth initiatives at Lovable, Aino will explore what happens when software creation opens up to the 99% in the broadest behavioural sense. More people can now participate in building products, companies, communities and new economic value. But building is only the beginning. The founders who win are the ones who turn access into action, action into momentum, and momentum into impact.
The central question is shifting from whether people can build, to what they choose to take responsibility for next.

AI: is the honeymoon over? What answers do we need in order to evolve and grow?
We are coming out of years of AI POCs and pilots applied to the business world. The phase of experimentation and lab work is drawing to a close, yet the widespread, accelerated, and committed adoption of AI within core enterprise processes still appears slow. In this transition, deeper, less visible but far more decisive questions are emerging—questions that are no longer about what AI can do. Which models? Which features? Which roadmaps?
The more mature conversation today is about the foundations on which to build an AI strategy, and how to govern it over time.

Grupo Technology that protects what we cherish most
