This session will guide the audience through a three-step journey: what regulations and standards actually say, and where things are really heading (without oversimplification); what is technically possible today (with solutions that can be implemented now, without trade-offs between security, sovereignty, and real cost awareness); and what is still missing culturally, industrially, and politically for Sovereign AI to stop being a slogan and become real infrastructure. Because “secure cloud” is not synonymous with “European cloud.” And “sovereign AI” is not certified by a hosting contract in Italy.
