Cristina Mussini is President of SIMIT (Italian Society of Infectious and Tropical Diseases). She is a Full Professor of Infectious Diseases and one of Italy’s leading experts in the field of infectious diseases and the management of complex infections, with a particular focus on emerging infections and antimicrobial resistance. She is active in clinical practice, teaching, and research, contributing to the development of guidelines and the dissemination of best practices in infectious diseases at both national and international level.
