Andrea Pugliese is a public sector executive with extensive expertise in the healthcare sector of Regione Puglia. Since 2019, he has served as a Director within the Department of Health Promotion, where he is responsible for the “Management Control of Regional Health Service Companies and Governance of the MOSS Information System” service. In this role, he oversees the strategic governance of management control for the Regional Health Service at a holding level, coordinates analytical accounting, budget monitoring, and the validation of ministerial economic models, while leading advanced performance analysis, standard cost evaluation (clinical/patient-level costing), and benchmarking across healthcare organizations.
He also serves as Contract Execution Director (DEC) for the MOSS Project, the unified administrative and accounting system designed to monitor and control regional healthcare spending, coordinating digitalization processes applied to expenditure monitoring.
