Description
Emanuele Frontoni is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Macerata and co-director of the VRAI Lab, an Affiliated Researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa, and since 2022 the Scientific Director of NemoLab at Niguarda Hospital in Milan. His research focuses on artificial intelligence and computer vision, human behavior analysis, augmented reality, and smart environments. He has authored over 300 international publications and collaborates with numerous companies. Since 2021, he has been included in the annual “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list (in the “Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing” category) curated by Stanford University and Elsevier, which ranks the top 2% most cited scientists worldwide.
